When you associate a contact with a student, you may be able to select a custody status. The custody status you select will determine the level of access this contact will have to the student’s information through the Household portal if your school uses Educate Household.

Once a person is set up as a contact for a student, administrators can edit the contact profiles to give them access to the system. You can always edit each contact record individually, but when you are setting up multiple contacts, it can be helpful to work with them all at once. You do have the ability to set up access for multiple contacts at once.
