The options for calculations of assignment scores include:
- average
- mode
- average of 3 highest scores
- power law
- most recent of scores (by assignment due date)
Up to 3 of these options can be displayed at the same time.
2. Course sections will include an option to set an automatically calculated score for parent-level standards. This roll-up score can be:
- average of the child-level standard scores or
- mode of the child-level standard scores for that term
3. The roll-up score for a parent-level standard can be calculated differently than the child-level calculated score. For example, on the finalized grades page, child-level standards can show the most recent assignment score. The parent-level standard will take those scores from the child-level standards and roll up those scores into a calculated average.
4. The language will be updated on the Standards and Skills page for the standard grading calculation of "Calculated" to "Average" - to ensure that users know exactly what "calculated" means.
5. Standard and Skill finalized grades pages will now default to "View by Student" to make it easier for schools to individually assess each student (note: they can always change back to "View by Standards" or "View by Skills")
