The Educate Development team has been diligently working on new features, and we're thrilled to share our latest updates with you. One of the most notable recent enhancements is:

  • Report Card UI/UX Enhancement
    We have introduced a progress icon on the report card generation page, it will appear on the right-hand top corner of the screen. For additional clarity, it will also show the number of report cards still in processing.

PORTAL POINTERS

 

Enrollment Change Report

 

Need to review changes made by families during your school’s enrollment period or throughout the school year? The TADS Enrollment Change Report is a great option for reviewing updates made to student and household information over time! The report includes the user record’s name, what was changed, the old and new values, and the date the change was made.  

 

This report is especially helpful for reconciling data with any external systems to update email addresses, phone numbers, or other changes to keep data consistent between systems. You can also choose to receive a daily change report via email by clicking on the settings icon in the top right corner and enabling the Enrollment Change Report Email notification. Invoice Aging Report

 

Need to quickly review your past due billing accounts in TADS? The Invoice Aging Report can help! This useful report shows a list of all current and past due accounts, broken down by age. It is best practice for your school to regularly monitor this report year-round so you can take any necessary action with specific family accounts. 

 

Filtering can be added to the report if you wish to narrow it down to view specific charges. The report can also be exported into Excel format for further review, either by account or student. To learn more, click here. 

 

Dashboards

 

Have you checked out the Dashboard tab in TADS? On this page, you can create custom dashboards using widgets to quickly view data such as admissions growth across school years, enrollment counts, yearly cash flow, and more!

Closing Out Billing Accounts

As the school year ends, you will likely want to review your family billing accounts and resolve any open balances or unapplied payments.  To work through that process you can use the following tips below:

  • Check the Unapplied Payments Report and Unapplied Credits Report to see if there are available payments or credits that should be applied to open balances, refunded, or removed.  
  • Check the Invoice Aging Report for families who have past-due balances. At this point, you may wish to follow up with those families directly to agree on a catch-up plan. 
  • If a family has a balance you would like to write off, you can add a credit, called something like “Write-off”, to zero out their balance. Optionally, you can Deactivate their billing account after adding a credit to make their balance $0. The steps are similar to the process you’d follow when a Student has Withdrawn mid-year.
