To use Emergency Blast, first be sure the following steps are completed:


1. Set outgoing phone number for all Educate correspondences by following these steps: Communications module >> Setup tab >> Configuration >>Use Verified Number >> "Yes" >> Set Outgoing phone number >> Make verification call.

2. Next, you will set the PIN for Emergency blasts: Communications module >> Setup tab >> Configuration >> enter 4 digit PIN >> save.

3. Ensure all contacts, staff and students have communication preferences set for Emergency correspondences.

Using Emergency Educate Blasts:

Any admin with the Emergency Blast number, outgoing phone number, and PIN can send an emergency blast.

If you need to use the Educate Emergency Blast system, an administrator will follow these steps:

  • Call 612-345-9534
  • Enter the school's outgoing phone number and pin number
  • Record voice message.
